Elpha · step-by-step guide

Connect Elpha to Claude, step by step

This guide takes you from nothing to your first request, one click at a time. You don't need any technical knowledge. It takes about 10 minutes, and you only do it once.

Prefer to watch? This 6-minute video walks through the same steps as the guide below.

What you're setting up

Claude is an AI assistant you chat with at claude.ai. A connector is a secure link that lets Claude see your Elpha account and work on it with you: build pages, check your sales, draft emails.

It only ever reaches your own account, and it asks you before it does anything.

Before you start

  • A computer (not your phone)The connector setup screens are easiest on a laptop or desktop.
  • A Claude account on a paid planPro, Max, Team or Enterprise. Free accounts can't add connectors.
  • Your Elpha email and passwordThe same ones you use to log in at elpha.club.

In every screenshot, red boxes show exactly where to click, in the order of their numbers. Tap or click a screenshot to see it full size.

The screenshots show Claude in English. If you use Claude in another language, the buttons are in the same places.

Part 1 of 3

Add Elpha to Claude

You'll tell Claude where Elpha lives. Nothing is connected to your account yet.

Step 1 of 15

Open Claude and sign in

  • Open your web browser (Chrome, Safari…) and go to claude.ai.
  • Sign in to your Claude account if it asks you to.

How you know it worked: You see a greeting and a big box to type in, with a menu down the left side.

Tip: Using the Claude app on your computer instead? That's fine: the menus are the same.

Step 2 of 15

Click “Customize”

  • In the menu on the left, click Customize.
Claude's home screen. Customize is highlighted in the left menu.

Tip: Can't see a menu on the left? Click the small square icon in the very top-left corner to open it.

Step 3 of 15

Go to Connectors and click “Add”

  • At the top, click the Connectors tab.
  • On the right, click the white Add button.
Your list may show other connectors, or none. That's fine.
The Customize page. The Connectors tab and the Add button are highlighted.

Step 4 of 15

Fill in the two boxes

A window called Add custom connector opens.

  • Click the Name box and type Elpha.
  • Click the MCP server URL box and paste this address. Use the button to copy it, then paste with ⌘ Cmd + V (Mac) or Ctrl + V (Windows).
https://www.elpha.club/api/mcp
The empty Add custom connector window. The Name and MCP server URL boxes are highlighted.
  • Check it looks like the picture below, then click Continue.
The window filled in: Name is Elpha and the address ends in /api/mcp. The Continue button is highlighted.

Tip: Make sure the address has no space at the start or end, and ends in /api/mcp.

Step 5 of 15

Leave the options as they are and click “Add”

The window now shows some technical options. Claude has already chosen the right ones for Elpha (you'll see “Detected” next to them). Don't change anything.

What you'll see first: no need to touch any of this.
The second part of the window with sign-in options. Sign in now and Register automatically are already selected and marked Detected.
  • Scroll down inside the window and click Add at the bottom.
The bottom of the window with the Add button highlighted, next to Back.

Step 6 of 15

Click “Connect”

  • You'll see “You're not connected to Elpha yet”. Click Connect.
The Elpha connector page in Claude saying You're not connected to Elpha yet, with the Connect button highlighted.

How you know it worked: Elpha's sign-in page opens (sometimes in a new window or tab).

  • Type your Elpha password.

Step 8 of 15

Check it's your account, then click “Allow”

  • Check the email after “Signed in as” is yours.
  • Click Allow.
This screenshot uses our demo account, Sarah. Yours shows your own email.
Elpha's Connect Claude to Elpha screen. The signed-in email and the Allow button are highlighted.

Tip: Wrong email showing? Click Cancel, sign out of elpha.club in your browser, then go back to step 6 and click Connect again.

Step 9 of 15

You're connected

You're taken back to Claude. Click ← Connectors at the top to see the list.

Claude's connectors list with the Elpha row highlighted, showing a tick in the Status column.

How you know it worked: Elpha is in the list with a tick (✓) under Status. The setup is done: you never have to repeat it.

Part 3 of 3

Your first request

Now try it out. In this example we ask Claude to add a new page to the website, just by describing it.

Step 10 of 15

Open a new chat and find the connectors menu

  • Click New at the top of the left menu.
  • Click the + button at the bottom-left of the message box.
  • Point at Connectors. A second menu opens to the right.
A new chat with the plus menu open. The plus button and the Connectors item are highlighted.

Step 11 of 15

Make sure Elpha is switched on

  • Find Elpha in the list. Its switch should be on (coloured). If it's grey, click it.
The Connectors submenu with Elpha's switch turned on, highlighted.

Tip: This is the step people miss most. If Claude ever says it can't see your Elpha account, come back here and check the switch.

Step 12 of 15

Type your request and send it

  • Click the message box and write what you want in your own words, as if you were asking a person. You never need to write or paste any code.
  • Press Enter, or click the arrow button, to send.
You can typeCreate a new page on my Elpha site called "Skin Diagnostic": a 60-minute 1:1 session where we look at your whole skin story (flares, sleep, stress, food and products) and you leave with a gentle four-week plan. Add a button to book it.
The message box with a request typed in, and the send button highlighted.

Step 13 of 15

Let Claude use Elpha

Before Claude changes anything in your account, it shows a card asking for your permission.

  • Always allow: Claude won't ask again for this kind of action.
  • Allow once: Claude asks again next time. Pick this if you want to approve every step.
A card saying Claude wants to use Create a page from Elpha, with Deny, Always allow and Allow once buttons. Always allow and Allow once are highlighted.

Tip: Nothing goes live on your website from this. New pages and changes are saved as a draft first.

Step 14 of 15

Read Claude's answer

  • Claude tells you what it did and where the new page lives.
Claude's reply: the Skin Diagnostic page is now in your site draft. It's not live yet.

How you know it worked: Claude says the page is in your draft, not live yet.

Step 15 of 15

Check the page in Elpha, then publish it

  • Go to elpha.club and open Website in the left menu.
  • Click the page menu above the preview (it says Home).
  • Click your new page.
Elpha's Website Studio with the page menu open. The menu button and the new page are highlighted.
  • The address it will have is shown above the preview.
  • Happy with it? Click Publish changes to put it live. (Or tell Claude “publish it”.)
The new page in the Website Studio preview. The page address and the Publish changes button are highlighted.

How you know it worked: Your other pages stay exactly as they were. The new page lives at elpha.club/your-name/page-name, or yourdomain.com/page-name if you use your own domain.

You're all set

What you can ask Claude

From now on, just open a chat (with Elpha switched on, step 11) and ask. Claude reads your real Elpha data, so the answers are about your business.

Example: “How am I doing?”

Claude looks at your sales, subscribers and bookings, then suggests what to focus on.

You typeGive me a quick overview of my Elpha account: how are sales and subscribers doing, and what should I focus on this week?
Claude's answer summarising sales and subscribers.
Claude listing three things to focus on this week.

Example: “Make my new page look like the rest of my site”

Claude restyles the page with your fonts and colours and adds your enquiry form. It's still a draft until you publish.

You typeMy new page looks plain. Make it match the style of the rest of my Elpha site, and point the button at my enquiry form.
Claude explaining the changes it made to the page.

More ideas to copy

  • Show me a preview of my site on a phone.
  • What should I do next in my business?
  • Draft a welcome email for people who download my guide. Ask me what you need first.
  • How did sales go this month, and who should I follow up with?
  • Rewrite the headline on my homepage so it speaks to the women I help.
  • Add a questions-and-answers section to my offer page, in my voice.
